Hey guys,
With just 24 hours to 2014, I bring to you the top 20 favorite songs of 2013. I can tell you that bring this list to 20 was not easy at all. I gathered information from my Facebook page, twitter and of course, YouTube views. All the artists in who made and didn't make the list should be very proud of their selves. Just last year, i couldn't have been able to get even 10 good songs for this list but this year i got about 40. What an improvement!!. I am soo proud of the amount of talent we've got in Cameroon. My only hope is that next year should be bigger and better, with lots of new artists, great videos, explosive songs and better and loyal fans. Here are the Top 20 songs of 2013, tell me what you think by leaving a comment. Also vote your favorite artist on the POLL at the top right hand side of the blog. There will be cash price for the winner. The poll is open till 00:00am (canadian time) which is 6 am (Camer time) - 31st night. You can vote as many times as possible.

Best Dressed Artists at the Cameroon Movies Merits Awards
Hey guys, so the CMM Awards was a couple of weeks ago and most of the artists killed it on the red carpet. As usual there were some absolute fails with i will not put up but these are the actors and artists who killed it. This is totally my opinion so you don't have to agree with me. My only advice to my fellow Cameroonian artists esply the ladies is to stay away from the bleaching creams and reduce the make up. Using make up artists like Anyi Asonganyi from OZI by ANYI and Sandra Ekukole from BIH-YOUTY. These are not in any order. That being said, here are the best dressed of the day
Sama Ndango aka Mr Fix It always kills the red carpet and he did it again. His style is very different from most but it definitely works for him |

New Music Video: Kwasia Braha (Watta) By Nabil aka NABSTAR
As
Belgium based rapper Nabil aka Nabstar prepares his comeback fully
into the music scene, this year has seen him actively release tracks and videos
for his EP My Tory Part 1. After
“Don’t 4get Me” and “Confirm”. Kwasia
Braha (Watta) is the dancey follow up track that attempts to please both the "lyricist" and the
"dancist” with a controversial
twist and a fun, satirical video to match released today.
Nabstar is know for this very artistic and rhymical lyrics. Wondering what Kwasia Braha means? Kwasia Braha;
meaning “fool come here” in Twi an
Akan language spoken in Ghana - is once more another powerful lyrical track
from Nabil portraying three verses
of uniquely and articulately aligned all pidgin lyrics with humouristic
metaphors and reality inspired images where Nabil shows why he is unique.
The
video is a comical attempt to showcase the bad behaviour from those unpleasant
“haters” equipping you with a one sentence response back at them…”Kwasia Braha
Bring Me Some Watta”.

Stanley Enow Speaks Out about His Controversial Bamenda Concert
Hey Guys,
How have you all been? hope everything is moving on well. Well, hope you are not hearing this from the first time but there has been a very very controversial story about Cameroonian Hip hop artist, Stanley Enow. Anyway, Stanley had a concert in Bamenda a couple of weeks ago. During the concert, he took down pictures of Brasseries posters from the walls. saying and I quote " I am a brand, and if I am invited for a show and there is a sponsor, I have to be told. I can't promote a brand without being paid for it". Just so we are clear, I totally 200% agree with and understand what he did. The organizers had to tell him about all the sponsors of the show and pay him accordingly. Anyway, here is the peak of what happened

Blue Illusion Dress
Hey everyone,
By the way TGIF!!!!, I think this is one of those days where I am like pwefff!!! Thank God this week is over, now I need to start studying for next week. #smh. I make it my goal to blog at least once every week but it's been 3 weeks since I have been on here so you can imagine. This semester has been one of the most stressful, busy and annoying semesters I have ever had but I refuse to let it stop me from doing what i love, that's blogging. Anyway enough of that. I am so in love with Illusion dresses and when a dress has color blocking, then it's a plus. Illusion dresses are best at making ladies look like they are hour glass shaped / pear shaped when they might not be. I love love love them in every color and style. This illusion dress was gotten for me by my mom. AGAIN!!! I KNOW!! *hides face* . Well I decided to add more colour to the outfit by wearing my gorgeous pink sandals from Le Chateau, I also kept my jewelries at a minimum and rocked my black bag from Aldo. I wore my hair up to expose the very interesting neckline of the dress. This outfit can be worn to work, interviews or formal occasions. Hope you love the way I styled it.

Brown Plaid
Hey lovelies,
How are you all doing today? I can't believe the year is almost running to an end. It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating Christmas and then a new year and in less than two months it will be December again. Wooow!!!!. My outfit today is dedicated to all the working class ladies. I have been having requests and questions on how to dress fashionably to work without going over the top, so here you go. First of, you can NEVER go wrong with a white shirt, so you need to have at least on white shirt in your closet #MUST. Then you need a pencil skirt plain or print it doesn't matter, go with what works for you. In this case I have on a brown Plaid skirt gotten for me by my mom. ( if you knew me in Cameroon then you must have seen this skirt a million times, it's soo old, had it since about 2009, funny how it till looks fashionable). Very simple jewelries , you don't want to look like you are going to the club or a party so a simple necklace, earring, bracelet and watch is the best way to accessorize, and of course some killer heels. Now you don't want to really be wearing 5" (five inches) or higher heels to work, it just looks too much. But if you can handle wearing it for 8 hours or more, then go right ahead. Finally it's fall so you obviously want to keep yourself warm until you get to the office, so a simple well tailored trench / wool coat can do the job and add some class to your outfit. Hope you like this outfit. Let me know what you think or any question you have by leaving a comment. Just for the record everything I have on was gotten for me by my mom but for the shoes and jewelries. We never see eye-to-eye when it comes to shoes, Lmao.
DADDY BLACK Presents his first audio “AH NO BE SMALL BOY”
Mister Daddy Black as he often refers to himself is certainly no small boy; for the past 11 years, he has actively been working his way through the Cameroon music scene preparing himself, recording his music in the studios and making his vocals known.
The Yaoundé based artist is now ready to unleash his baby in the form of his music and experiences to the wider public. “Ah No Be Small Boy” his second release which will feature in an 18 track album entitled “Hustler’s Philosophy” scheduled to be released in the Spring of next year is an RnB song subtly tinged with reggae and afro beats influences with lyrical content and creatively engineered instrumentals.
The message passed in this real life inspired song is nothing far from real for it paints the picture of the struggle between love and materialism very vividly that you do not need to listen between the lines to understand that some women are only there when the going is good.

Cameroonian Blogger & Face Behind "Art Becomes You" - Lydie Epangue
Hey lovelies, I am beyond happy to present to you one of the best in the Cameroonian blogging sphere. She is known other than the London based Cameroonian fashion blogger - Lydie Epangue. Her blog * Art Becomes You* is one of the most renown fashion blogs owned by a Cameroonian. With over 349000 blog views and almost 5000 facebook likes, it's no doubt this lovely day is killing it. I’ve always been intrigued by people in the media and wanted to work there. I currently work as an SEO/ Web Analyst but do some A LOT of blogging and other bits and bops in my free time.

My Silver Birthday Dinner
How are you all doing today and how is the month of September treating you? This month is absolutely my favorite month of the year, Firstly because it's my month of birth and also because .... it's just the best. lol. Well, my birthday was on the 6th and since i had school all day, i couldn't do anything special, I just went out with a few of my friends, did a little dancing and went home (sad face). Anyway, I had my Birthday Dinner on the 14th and this is how it went down. It was a gold and nude kinda night for me. I wanted to look glam and effortless. So I kept everything very simple, sticking to my simple, and chic style. Since it was my Silver birthday, my initial idea was to wear a silver dress. Unfortunately, i couldn't find a silver dress that I loved, which suit the occasion, and which could be shipped to me in less than 3 days. So I went for a Gold dress from Nasty girl. It's kinda reflects gold and silver depending on the lighting and in most of my pictures it looks Silver , Whoop whoop!!!. lol but it's actually kinda gold. Hope you like how I styled this lovely dress by Nasty girl. All the details of my outfit is below. Thanks to all my lovely friends who made my night very special and to all those who sent me happy birthday messages/ wishes on Facebook, Instagram, etc etc. You made this special year even more special. A special thanks to all my readers, I might not know you personally but i really do love you all. A blogger is nothing without his/her readers and you guys make my day every single day. Much love and I promise you there are better things to come so subscribe and stay tuned. Mwahhh!!!!!

ON EST HIGH PERE!!!! Stanley Enow's In the house. #HeinPere
Stanley Enow aka Bayangi boy aka HEIN PERE. Is a Cameroonian Afro Rap Artist whose out burst into the music scene has created a revolution, a movement and a massive buzz. In my opinion he is the most talked about Cameroonian artist right now, considering the fact that his record breaking single HEIN PERE was released on July 13, and in just 3 weeks, it had over 62,500 views, now it has over 150, 000 views and has been the talk of the year.Since the release of his single he has been touring Cameroon performing in Douala, Yaounde etc. He also performed with Flavour ( Nigerian Artist) at two sold out concerts in Douala and Yaounde and to Crown it all he performed at the Cameroonian Match against Libya last week. If this guy doesn't get to international recognition then there is something seriously wrong. I personally can't wait to see him on a stage in Toronto and Montreal ( I need to work towards that). Anyway, I was very honored to be one of the first bloggers to interview him when his song was released 2 months ago. And here is our little tweetinterview. Shout out to all my tweeps and Hein peres and Meres who followed this interview on twitter, the turn out was Hamazing!!!! LMAO. This was the first of my MMPR tweetinterviews and this is how it went down.
ALTF: Hi Stanley aka Bayangi boy. Neh yee!!. Thanks for accepting to do this interview. it's a pleasure to have you here.
Stanley Enow: Hello mere. Hi to ma peeps from across the globe
- I am sure everyone wants to know, who Stanley Enow Is?
Thigh High Boots Poping
Hello lovely fashionistas,
I know it has been a while but I am back. Just started school this week and it has been really difficult to balance everything especially after having such a long time off school. Any way I am figuring it out and I promise to be more current. Just bare with me I beg. The post/ message of today is going to be deep, even though the title of the post doesn't reflect it. A couple of weeks ago, I went to the mall and the message of this lovely tank top cut my eye. "THEN YOU WILL KNOW THE TRUTH AND THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE!!! John 8:32". This message brought flashes of so many struggles, insecurities, fights, barriers etc that I and many people I know have had to face. Bullying!!! Bullying BULLYING is a HUGE issue in this part of the world. It is very easy for people to sit behind their computers and bully others, insulting / judging them about their looks, their size, their behavior etc etc when they themselves are worst looking. Don't get me wrong, it is okay to give constructive criticisms, as a matter of fact I loveeee constructive criticisms and that's why I LOVE my readers coz they show me nothing but love. However some people especially on other social media sites find pleasure in insulting other bloggers calling them names and insulting everything on their bodies. It is never fun to put others down in other to look good. I know many bloggers who have been bullied , insulted and cursed for there looks or for something on their body. For example my friend and fellow blogger Brenda Chuinkam, In my eyes she has the perfect shape and size any girl will want ( I envy her * hides face* lol), but I can't count the number of times she has been featured on a site and people esply girls have insulted her. if it's not her legs, it's her hips, her style etc. I love how she doesn't let it bother her one bit ( Strong Lady) but everyone is not as strong as she is an you never know what impact a couple of arrogant words can go to others especially youths. No one is perfect, everyone has something they don't like or are insecure about even YOU ( cyber bullies). Only the "TRUTH" can set you free, that's allI can really say. Any successful, hardworking, good looking and happy person wouldn't derive pleasure in putting others down. Being jealous, envious, and mean wouldn't help you. I can't count how many teenagers and young adults loose their lives every day because of bullying. We Need to STOP BULLYING and learn to accept each other coz we are more alike than we are different. That is the TRUTH. This post is for every teenager, blogger, artist, man, woman, child who has been bullied / hated . Just know that they do not define you and what doesn't kill you makes you STRONGER!!! NO ONE is worth loosing your life for not even YOU.
Disclaimer: Just so you know this is not my personal story, I haven't been insulted on any sites or by anyone (at least not yet). It just hurts me to see others suffer / loose their lives because some other human beings think less of them. I just can't stand it.

Styling your Maxi Dress
OMG, i am soo sorry for the long silence guys. Been soo busy lately. This post has been way overdue. Took the pics about 2 weeks ago. Anyway hope u guys enjoy it. It is no news that maxi dresses are the must haves of every summer. i don't think they will be going out of fashion, even if they do it won't be anytime soon. They are comfy, light, sexy and easy to wear. who doesn't love that. Every girl has definitely rocked a maxi dress this summer and the only thing that makes it different is how you style it ( your accessories). For my outfit, i decided to wear a purple and white maxi dress which I bought last summer, with a gorgeous hat, a pair of flats, lovely hand bag and a pair of sun glasses. you can rock this outfit to any out door event, be it a BBQ, a day at the beach, an outdoor concert or even a touristic day around town. it's a simple but fun outfit. hope you like it.

Song of the Week: Africa (Higher Higher) by Debra Debs
Hey guys,
Another outstanding song of the week. Africa (higher higher) by Debra Debs has been the talk of Facebook and other social networks for a while now. Just a little over a month since it was released and it has almost 1.5 million views. Yes, people you heard right it's in millions and it's no wonder why. From it's captivating message to her stunning voice and woowing video quality/ directing, there is no doubt that this song deserves millions upon millions of views, countless awards and why not a Grammy. This is the most viewed Cameroonian music i have ever seen, and the support is not just from within Cameroon but from all over the world. it's CRAZY. In my opinion, She is like a younger, BETTER version of the Nigerian female artist, Asa. As I said my opinion, lol i love Asa but Debra is giving a running for her money #BIGTIME. lol let me stop talking. Just watch and let me know what you think. I have no critic about it. And let's not forget Mr Ndukong Bertrand aka February 16th, the amazing director of the video. 100 Thumbs up bro. You have done it again. This is just tooo PERFECT, *Hats off to you*.
Let's all strive to go higher in everything we do, No more lower. We are better than what they portray us to be. Thanks for this Debra, gives me strength to wake up every morning with a new and bigger dream. Let me know what you think by leaving a comment below and if you will like to know more about Debra Debs, also let me know so i can interview her.

DIY: How to Achieve an Ombre Hair
Hey guys,
I know this post has been a long time coming since you guys have been asking me how I achieved the look for my new hair style. Some of my readers have been asking for a video tutorial , the truth is I wasn't planning on doing a post or tutorial on it. Luckily i took some pictures while i was doing it #THANK GOD, So i will just try to explain what I did using the pictures. Mind you I wasn't planning on doing this post so the pictures are not perfect but I will try my best to make it work. Also, I promise to make a video when next a do this to my hair. so if you are in Windsor and you need help to achieve this look, Just shoot me an email and i will be willing to help. So here we go, Enjoy and don't forget to leave any questions and comments below.
Firstly, Most Ladies think that Ombre is a hair color, it isn't. Ombre is a french word meaning "shade or shading". Ombre Hair usually fades from a darker roots to lighter ends of your hair, So you can have pink, blue , red etc etc ombre hair but today I will be talking about achieving a brown - blonde ombre hair. This is a great way to add some sexy and hotness into your summer. it just makes you look stylist, hot and smoldering and the good thing is anyone can pull of Ombre hair no matter your skin colour, race or hair type. Some many celebs have been rocking this hair style from Rihanna, Ciara to Khloe kardashian
So to achieve this lovely look,
- 30 Volume Developer,
- Hair bleach (Quick Blue, ),
- Plastic bowl,
- Spatula or wooden/ plastic spoon,
- Aluminium foil

La Vie en NOIR
"A woman never looks bad in a little black dress, they can always trust that look." Quote supplied by the fashion house
Hey everyone,
Happy Father's Day to all the lovely Dads.Well, I just want to start by thanking you all for the support I have been having these few days, Increased views and more comments. Means a lot and please keep the views and comments coming, sincerely, they motivate me. Today's post is a continuation of the Little Black Dress post, this is the 2nd of 3 ( Check out the first post here). As earlier said, a LBD is a definite must-have for ever fashionista but just because it's called a black dress doesn't mean it can't have a little bit of color. A black dress with the right pop of color in all the right places can take your outfit to a whole new level. For example, If you had to attend an interview, office / board meeting or even a corporate presentation, an outfit like this can move mountains.
Dress: BCBG , Shoes: Shoe dazzle, Accessories: Forever 21/ Gifted Bag: Trifted. Of course if you are going for an interview you might want to wear lower heels, but for a meeting, especially a corporate presentation, you just have to keep those heels on, coz you might be surprised the kind of contracts those shoes/legs can get you, lol just saying. You can always put a blazer over the outfit or add a belt, but don't forget to keep the colors to a minimum and avoid bright colors, It's a formal meeting not a girls night out. More pictures after the cut.
