Happy Blogiversary: Hello Kitty Meets Boyfriend Jeans.

Hey Friends,
 This post is a very special one for me because we just turned ONE. lol ok let me break it down. March 12 made me one year as a blogger and made my blog one year old so we are pretty excited. Within a year we have managed to have 87 posts, 825 Facebook likes, and over 77,000 views which is just mind blowing. When I started blogging it was just for fun. I had two aims, to show people what I wear/ give fashion advice and to create a platform to showcase amazingly talented Cameroonians; artists, actors etc. And as the year went by i just found myself wanting to do more and be more because of all the support i got from you all. I discovered talents i didn't even know i had like writing. I have always hated writing but since i started blogging it just flows. I want to say a very big THANK YOU to all my readers and friends who have supported me all through this year. I know i still have a very long way to go and a lot more work to do but i know with your support I will get there. Please I am open to any constructive criticism, so let me know what you like/ do not like about my blog. what you want to see more off and what i should add.
Now to the outfit of the day, first I want to apologize for not posting outfits for a while. The winter weather in Canada is HORRIBLE and it makes it almost impossible to take pictures for my blog. Anyway thank God the winter nightmare is almost over. Just like every outfit, I always want to look as simple as possible yet classy and fashionable. It was cold so i decided to wear my kitty fur sweater and boyfriend jean from Urban Planet, Nude single strap Sandals and clutch from Le chateau. I also added some color to the outfit by tying an ankara headtie. This outfit can be worn to school esply those in University in Cameroon/Africa. people don't really wear heels to school here, or may be it's just my school. you can also wear it to events, shows, work and even dates.

                            Christmas is here and I want to do special posts dedicated to my lovely readers who have been there for me all year through. I am truly grateful for your love and support through out this year. and since it's  Christmas, i want to do something special for you too. Leave any questions you many have about fashion, style or even about me below. And i will do a post where i answer all your questions about What to wear for special events etc etc. My sister's birthday was last weekend and this is what I wore. My outfit theme was Gold and Nude. and so was my make up. I kept everything simple Yet SEXY and since it is Winter, i wore a lovely double breasted coat. Christmas gift from my lovely mom.

Blue Illusion Dress

Hey everyone,
                        By the way TGIF!!!!, I think this is one of those days where I am like pwefff!!! Thank God this week is over, now I need to start studying for next week. #smh. I make it my goal to blog at least once every week but it's been 3 weeks since I have been on here so you can imagine. This semester has been one of the most stressful, busy and annoying semesters I have ever had but I refuse to let it stop me from doing what i love, that's blogging. Anyway enough of that. I am so in love with Illusion dresses and when a dress has color blocking, then it's a plus. Illusion dresses are best at making ladies look like they are hour glass shaped / pear shaped when they might not be. I love love love them in every color and style. This illusion dress was gotten for me by my mom. AGAIN!!! I KNOW!! *hides face* . Well I decided to add more colour to the outfit by wearing my gorgeous pink sandals from Le Chateau, I also kept my jewelries at a minimum and rocked my black bag from Aldo. I wore my hair up to expose the very interesting neckline of the dress. This outfit can be worn to work, interviews or formal occasions. Hope you love the way I styled it.

Brown Plaid

                   How are you all doing today? I can't believe the year is almost running to an end. It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating Christmas and then a new year and in less than two months it will be December again. Wooow!!!!.  My outfit today is dedicated to all the working class ladies. I have been having requests and questions on how to dress fashionably to work without going over the top, so here you go. First of, you can NEVER go wrong with a white shirt, so you need to have at least on white shirt in your closet #MUST. Then you need a pencil skirt plain or print it doesn't matter, go with what works for you. In this case I have on a brown Plaid skirt gotten for me by my mom. ( if you knew me in Cameroon then you must have seen this skirt a million times, it's soo old, had it since about 2009, funny how it till looks fashionable). Very simple jewelries , you don't want to look like you are going to the club or a party so a simple necklace, earring, bracelet and watch is the best way to accessorize, and of course some killer heels. Now you don't want to really be wearing 5" (five inches) or higher heels to work, it just looks too much. But if you can handle wearing it for 8 hours or more, then go right ahead. Finally it's fall so you obviously want to keep yourself warm until you get to the office, so a simple well tailored trench / wool coat can do the job and add some class to your outfit. Just for the record everything I have on was gotten for me by my mom but for the shoes and jewelries. We never see eye-to-eye when it comes to shoes, Lmao.

My Silver Birthday Dinner

Hey lovlies,
                  How are you all doing today and how is the month of September treating you? This month is absolutely my favorite month of the year, Firstly because it's my month of birth and also because .... it's just the best. lol. Well, my birthday was on the 6th and since i had school all day, i couldn't do anything special, I just went out with a few of my friends, did a little dancing and went home (sad face). Anyway, I had my Birthday Dinner on the 14th and this is how it went down. It was a gold and nude kinda night for me. I wanted to look glam and effortless. So I kept everything very simple, sticking to my simple, and chic style. Since it was my Silver birthday, my initial idea was to wear a silver dress. Unfortunately, i couldn't find a silver dress that I loved, which suit the occasion, and which could be shipped to me in less than 3 days. So I went for a Gold dress from Nasty girl. It's kinda reflects gold and silver depending on the lighting and in most of my pictures it looks Silver , Whoop whoop!!!. lol but it's actually kinda gold. Hope you like how I styled this lovely dress by Nasty girl. All the details of my outfit is below.
