Cameroonian rapper and song-writer Ngoma presents the video to his song “Ekié” directed by Adah Akenji.
After releasing his first single "Afe Nkap" in 2014, the rapper has decided to make a come back to the music scene offering another rhythm to his fans and leaving his prints on the Cameroon urban music platform with his song “Ekié”. Ngoma describes "Ekié" as a musical trend where he expresses his appreciation of the female 'physic' because to him “women are art and special beings”. “Ekié” is a common term used in Cameroon to express great surprise or amazement. In essence, "Ekié" embodies a local and harmonic rhythm followed by a mixture of languages taken spoken in Cameroon.
I personally think Ngoma is a rap power house, I am still addicted to his first single Afe Nkap and it's been out for 2 years. Ekié is another great song. The beats and the beautiful blend of languages makes this song not only catchy but unique. I can't wait to see what Ngoma has next in store for us. The song was produced by Greezy and Dijay karl and the video directed by Adah Akenji.
Thanks for stopping by. "In a nice way you are nice, #YES" * in Ngoma's voice*
