Fashion Police: Cameroon International Film Festival - White Party

Hey lovely MKB Readers,
How are you all doing today? I know you have been waiting for this post so I will go right to it. This post is going to cover some red carpet looks for the CAMIFF White Party held on the 29th of April.  It was a party, not a formal occasion so you will see a lot of short, 'club - like', casual outfits and that is ok. A few days ago on Facebook, someone said "Cameroon is ready for a fashion police", My response is, "If Cameroon is not ready for a fashion police then Cameroon is not ready to have 'celebrities' or an entertainment industry". It's that simple.

Fashion Tips - HAIR:
Ladies, If you have been reading my blog, You would have noticed that I always complain about the hairstyles on the red carpet. That is because your hair can make or mare a really nice outfit.
Ponytails and buns: You should wear your hair in a ponytail or low/high buns when wearing a dress with a sweetheart neck line, one shoulder, or a dress with an intricate, and show stopping neckline.
Hair down, Off shoulder or Side: If your dress shows off a lot of skin e.g open back, deep V neckline etc etc, you might want to keep your hair down, off shoulder or to the side. This covers up some of the extra 'skin' while keeping your outfit sexy. Also if your outfit has a simple neckline, turtle necks, High necklines, simple basic outfits then you can style your hair up or down. it doesn't matter.
Disclaimer: When it comes to hair, one rule doesn't fit all, since all outfits have different variations of style, color etc. So these are just some guidelines, you still have to make sure it goes with your specific outfit.

I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures.

Actress Malvin Ann:

I absolutely love this jumpsuit by Mareta West. It fits her perfectly. Also the neckline of the jumpsuit is the first I have seen and it works. It makes the jumpsuit unique. I also love her hair, and simple accessories. A simple earring would have been nice. However, see looks great #slayed.

Actress Syndy Emade:

I love her off shoulder white dress. The slit has just the right length making the outfit very sexy without being trashy. I also LOVE her fuchsia, single strap, high low sandals (nice pop of color). Make up on point. I love the way she styled her hair, However i would have loved if the hair in front was all pulled back to show off the beautiful neckline of the dress.*

 India Actress - Rekha Rana:

I love this high- low skater dress by J & L Designs. Love her hair and make up. Her shoes are cute too. She always slays though. Woow.

Singer Daphne:

I love love loveeee this jumpsuit. She looks stunning and it brings out her curves. I also love her nude pumps. However, I wish her hair was in a different color, dark brown would have been better. She definitely slayed as well

I love lovee loveee this outfit (I think it is a jumpsuit not too sure). I love how she styled it. Love her shoes, hair and gold clutch. She looks simple but very chic. Love it.

Actress - Dikana Adel:

I actually love her lace skater dress. The silver shoe goes really well with her outfit. However, a silver or nude bag would have been better.

Blogger (I Rep Camer) - Yefon Mainsah:

I love the simplicity of her outfit, since it is a party, it works. I also love her shoes, However, I will get rid of the bangles, bag and necklace. I will definitely replace the bag with a purple or black smaller bag or clutch.

The men also looked lovely in all white shirts and trousers. OMG who is the lady? she slayed for the gods. Love, love, loveeeee her turtle neck body-con outfit #perfection, make up & hair is on point, love her bag as well. Wish I could see her shoes.

These men look sleek as well. They all look very well dresses especially Mr Fredash. The guy (3rd from the left), looks good, However, I don't know if i am a fan of the half black - half white shirt with a white suit. I think it would have looked better without the suit. It is a show stopper on its own.

Thanks for always reading. The CAMIFF - closing ceremony post drops tomorrow so stay tuned. I can already see an improvement in red carpet appearances and it makes me happy.
xoxo
